Yeah, OK, so maybe "guru" is a bit of an exaggeration (but I swear, that's what my friends, family and neighbors call me... probably just trying to butter me up so I will help them with their repair projects!)
Guru or not, I DO have many years of experience doing a variety of home repairs and general fix-its, and I thought this would be a great place to share it with a wider public.
